I’d like to introduce myself as a new member of the Roach Farms’ family. I look forward to this new endeavor and am excited to have the opportunity to get to know you.

I have lived in Waverly, just 10 miles south, all of my life with my parents Roger and Susan Lenius. I attended Waverly-Shell Rock High School, where I was an active member of both FFA and 4-H and attended Wartburg College where I graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a B.A. degree in Business Administration, and a concentration in Management.

Working on my grandparents’ farm where they raised cattle and row crops all of their lives created a strong passion in me for farming and farm-related activities. After my grandfather’s death, my parents, Roger and Susan, and I have worked to continue the farming tradition, and maintain our small family farm. This is what led me, initially, to Roach Farms.

In the winter of 2005, as a part of a business class, I worked as an intern for Roach Farms, and was asked to continue through the summer. I returned to finish my final year at Wartburg and after graduation was hired full time by Roach Farms.

My current position allows me to work with Ed on appraisals and to work with others in the office on various projects.
